Parsons Brinckerhoffs Lenexa Office is looking for an experienced project manager with proven performance track record managing urban street and highway projects.

The candidate must have strong verbal, written, presentation, and organization and management skills. Responsibilities and accountabilities will include:

Managing all aspects of transportation design projects from conceptual engineering to final design;

Coordinating the planning and execution of project tasks, managing project staff, scheduling and budgetary oversight;

Maintaining positive client relationships;

Developing and/or coordinating requests for proposals/qualifications;

Assisting with business development/marketing activities including pursuit identification and teaming, initiating and reviewing proposals; and

Participating in interviews and presentations.

 

Job Requirements

Minimum of 10 years of civil/highway engineering experience;

Experience in the Kansas City metropolitan area with municipalities, counties, KDOT and MoDOT is preferred;

Experience successfully managing roadway projects;

Experience in marketing, proposal preparation and client relations;

Strong presentation skills; and

Experience in the production of construction plans using Geopak and Microstation.

This engineering position requires a B.S.C.E. from an accredited University or College and a registered professional engineer certification. The selected candidate should be able to work in the United States immediately.
