The City of Pasadena, Department of Public Works, Building Systems and Fleet Management Division (BSFMD) is seeking a highly motivated, results oriented individual to plan, direct, and implement the activities of the City's facilities and fleet maintenance operations. The ideal candidate will be energetic, an excellent communicator, and foster a team environment while empowering subordinate staff. The Public Works Administrator will provide complex administrative support to the Director of Public Works.
Qualification guidelines: a bachelor's degree in public or business administration, or a closely related field and six years of progressively responsible experience in administrative/fiscal management; facility maintenance; and/or fleet management, including three years in a supervisory/managerial capacity. A graduate degree in public or business administration or closely related field is highly desirable.
