Schaaf & Wheeler is looking for a highly motivated, experienced civil engineer to perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses.

Typical projects include: analysis and design of water systems and/or components including computer modeling, design of pump stations, stormwater management, storm drain hydraulics, sewer hydraulics, flood control hydrology and hydraulics, cost estimating, preparation of bid packages, permitting assistance, and report writing.

Job Requirements:

• A BS in Civil Engineering and 3-5 years of relevant experience are essential
• A current CA Professional Engineer license is required (no exceptions)
• Flood control hydrology and hydraulics experience is preferred
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and ArcGIS highly preferred
• An advanced civil engineering degree is a plus
• The ability to communicate effectively (both verbally and in writing) with clients and project team members is required
• This position requires proficiency with MS Office
