Stationary Engineers are responsible for the operation and maintenance of high and low pressure boilers; heating and ventilating systems; and air conditioning units in City facilities. In addition, Stationary Engineers perform maintenance plumbing and welding; repair door locks and enclosures; and perform related duties as required.
Requirements: Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school AND two years of experience which would demonstrate possession of the kowledge and abilities listed. EPA and AC&R Certifications are highly desirable. Possession of a valid California Drivers license at the time of appointment and throughout employment.
