We are seeking candidates that are ready and prepared to take their career to the next level. This is an exceptional opportunity to provide engaged management to Washington County Facilities and Parks Division, where great pride is taken in the planning, construction, maintenance and repair of nearly 30 County owned buildings (over 1.3 million square feet), grounds, parks and associated hard scape. The Facilities Manager plays a visible leadership role and collaborates closely with county executives, elected officials and other internal and external stakeholders to ensure County facilities are safe, effective, efficient, and sustainable. Given the continued growth of the community and organization, a key role for this position is to provide the leadership, expertise and know-how to successfully guide and manage complex facility expansion and improvement initiatives.

Successful candidates will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering, Public or Business Administration, Construction Management or a related field and at least five years of facility management experience. The experience must have included the management of a facility program with multiple commercial buildings and property holdings similar to the size and complexity of WashingtonCounty.

Preference will be given to candidates that can demonstrate successful development, management and execution of a complex capital improvement program.
