The Transportation & Public Works Stormwater Management Division is seeking to hire a Professional Engineer to review proposed private development projects for compliance with City of Fort Worth drainage design standards. The successful candidate will have a thorough knowledge of hydraulic and hydrologic engineering principles and practices with an ability to apply these to proposed projects to ensure that new development does not increase the risk of flooding to adjacent properties or roads. Abilities to work effectively with developers and their consultants to arrive at mutually acceptable drainage solutions and to meet review timeline service standards are central to the responsibilities of this position.
