The Senior Development Review Engineer is a technical engineering position within the Engineering Division of the Department of Public Works. The work involves detailed plan review for compliance with the Town’s roadway and stormwater technical criteria manuals with an emphasis on the design of residential subdivision and commercial site development. Under the general supervision of the Engineering Manager, the individual may also be responsible for providing technical guidance and supervision of other technical staff within the Engineering Division. An employee in this position must demonstrate specialized technical knowledge in specific areas and exercise judgment within established organizational values, policies and procedures.

A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university in civil engineering, or a closely related field, and six (6) years of progressively responsible work experience in civil engineering or related experience. Registration as a Professional Engineer with the Colorado State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Professional Land Surveyors, or the ability to obtain within six (6) months of employment. A valid State of Colorado Driver's License and good driving record or the ability to obtain upon hire is required. Work hours typically 40 hours per week Monday through Friday; day, evening, weekend and/or holiday hours may be required.
Please note the posted hiring range is the full salary range for this position.
