Peter is the top executive officer at APWA in charge of carrying out the board's actions and desired courses of development in accordance with the APWA Strategic Plan. Kaye serves as the chief operating officer of the association and is responsible for day-to-day management of the Kansas City office. The Executive/Communications Corrdinator works with the executive staff and communication aspects of the APWA Board of Directors, and various technical and board committees. Cheryl serves as the principal staff for development and implementation of over 150 Congress sessions annually. She produces the Call for Papers, coordinates the judging process with the Congress Program Review Committee, and handles all speaker communications as well as contract negotiations with keynote speakers.Karen Wilson

Karen manages the development of text-based courses for formal training implementation by chapters and agencies. In this role, she is the department's liaison to APWA's PET committees in helping define the annual educational process for the coming year. Karen also produces the annual series of satellite videoconferences for member training through our chapters and develops the educational activities for the APWA North American Snow Conference.Gia Simonie

Director of Finance/Controller

The Director of Finance/Controller is responsible for financial and budget matters for APWA. This position coordinates the budget process; disseminates financial information to APWA staff, board members, and chapters; and manages APWA accounting/reporting software. Donna is responsible for the timely payment of all APWA vendors. She maintains the in-house purchase order system and works with staff to resolve any questions or concerns regarding expense activity with each account. Dann directs and manages all APWA Information Technology areas. He is responsible for coordinating all computer and network activities in the Kansas City and Washington offices, as well as developing and maintaining working relationships with computer hardware, software, and service vendors. Director, Rural Transit Tech Assistance Program
Beth focuses on rural and small-community issues. She directs the Federal Transit Administration's National Rural Transit Assistance Program, related FTA agreements involving welfare to work and coordination of health and human services transportation, and a Federal Highway Administration program on rural technical assistance. She is also the primary staff liaison to the Cities/Rural Communities Forum.Jim Fahey

Ann oversees the Rebuild America Coalition. Rebuild works to educate lawmakers, media, and the general public on the public benefits of the nation's infrastructure system and the need for increased investment in infrastructure programs.
