This Document is based on existing, nationally-accepted standards. The Public Works Working Group extracted relevant education, training, experience, physical/medical fitness, certification, and licensing criteria to define the recommended criteria for public works personnel to participate in the Incident Management System Division’s National Emergency Responder Credentialing System.

This document was prepared by IQE Consultants as an example of the direct administrative costs that should be reimbursable under FEMA's Public Assistance (PA) Grant Program.

The aim of the Emergency Management Higher Education Program is promoting college-based emergency management education for future emergency managers and other interested personnel.

The purpose of this guide is to transmit basic information about programs of assistance available to individuals, businesses, and public entities after a disaster. The information is intended to serve as a starting point for disaster workers and local, State, and Federal officials to locate sources of help as they seek more definitive information, such as eligibility criteria and application processes.

This presentation provides infomration on the FEMA EMI Higher Education Program.

The Individuals and Households Program (IHP) provides financial help or direct services to those who have necessary expenses and serious needs if they are unable to meet the needs through other means.

This link features contract document that Leawood, KS, used when hiring a debris contractor. They had FEMA involved in this clean up, so this is in line with some of the things a consultant in the RFP will be probably wanting to have in their portfolio. Also included are copies of the FEMA forms that we were required to fill out (as samples). Check the FEMA site for more recent documents.
