CPWA Re-elects Red Deer, Alberta's Darwin K. Durnie as President

The Canadian Public Works Association (CPWA) has re-elected Darwin K. Durnie, PWLF and Principal of Stantec Consulting Ltd., Red Deer, Alberta as President beginning August 2012.

Noting his deliberation and contributions to the recent projects that CPWA has undertaken, the CPWA Board of Directors voted unanimously for his continuing leadership as President of CPWA. “Darwin has been involved in the important discussions and stakeholder meetings on the new long term plan for infrastructure that will follow the Building Canada program set to expire in 2014. He brings a lot to the table. We don’t want to lose his expertise and leadership before that plan comes to fruition. We are most pleased that he has re-upped and will continue to lead CPWA” said Kealy Dedman, Director of Engineering Services, City of Cambridge, Ontario and CPWA Board Member representing Ontario.
