Conferences

Each year APWA holds three major conferences: the International Public Works Congress & Exposition, known as “The Best Show in Public Works”; the North American Snow Conference; and the most recent addition, the Sustainability in Public Works Conference. The conferences are different sizes and the latter two are more audience-specific, but each offers multiple sessions on a variety of the hottest topics in public works, as well as the opportunity to meet with numerous exhibitors to “kick the tires” and discuss cutting-edge technology.

As an added bonus, APWA is an International Association of Continuing Education & Training (IACET) authorized continuing education provider. Therefore, APWA is able to offer Continuing Education Units (CEUs) and Professional Development Hours (PDHs) for all of its national events and for pre-approved chapter events. The IACET designation signifies to state licensing authorities and other entities that APWA meets the highest standards and definitions of continuing education and training.
