The Snohomish County Department of Public Works is a local and national award winning organization that is responsible for the development and maintenance of the transportation system, the control and management of surface water quantity and quality, and the disposal of solid waste generated within all of Snohomish County. Currently we are seeking qualified applicants to work in our Transportation and Environmental Services (TES) Division as a Public Works Supervisor II to supervise the Communications Section.

The responsibilities of this section include public involvement support related to Public Works' Capital Construction Programs, creating and deploying a wide range of public information products through print and electronic media in support of essential County services and providing outreach and education services related to County initiatives and regulatory review processes.

The TES Division is comprised of 69 employees. The Communications' staff is comprised of 5 public involvement and communications professionals.
