Salary and Benefits:  $33.88/hr. DOE plus Benefit Package

OVERVIEW:  The employee occupying the position of this class is responsible for managing a wide variety of professional services and construction contracts associated with Borough civil and road projects. This is a bargaining unit position.


QUALIFICATIONS:  Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Construction Management or related field. Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in civil construction project management, construction contract administration, or related field.


Must be certified as a Construction Documents Technologist (CDT) by the Construction Specifications Institute or able to attain CDT certification within 12 months of employment.


Incident Command System classes required ICS 100, 200, 700 and 800 within 1 year of hire. Other ICS courses may be required according to position held within the EOC, and will be determined by employee supervisor and Emergency Manager.


Valid Alaska driver’s license (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire) with acceptable driving record and criminal history are required.
