PROJECT MANAGER II

(Watershed & Water

Quality Management)

The City ofOakland’s Public Works Agency is currently looking for a Project Manager II, Watershed & Water Quality Management. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the City’s Watershed Program and the Measure DD Bond Program, in addition to ensuring the City ofOakland’s compliance with federal, state and local rules and regulations related to water quality management, environmental regulations, contract administration and city policies.

 

Minimum requirements include a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in environmental studies, public administration or related field, 4 years of progressively responsible experience in watershed program management, storm water regulatory compliance, restoration projects and capital project management, including 2 years of supervisory experience. Requires knowledge of watershed and watershed quality management, principles and practices of project management, contract negotiations and administration and budget development. Knowledge of ecosystems, restoration and wetland project management, as well as state and federal clean water regulations and national pollutant discharge elimination system are desirable.
