The City Of Gainesville’s Public Works Department currently has an opening for a qualified Land Rights Coordinator to procure, dispose of, and administer real estate rights for the City.
To qualify for this position you must possess a diploma from an accredited four year college or university with major course work in real estate or related subject, and five years progressively responsible experience in real estate, preferably involving land and land rights acquisition and administration for a utility, or an equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, ability, and skills.
Preference will be given to those candidates who possess:
• Real estate experience
• Experience dealing with land acquisition for public agencies and/or following public procurement processes
· Valid State of Florida Real Estate Salesperson and Broker licenses desirable.
· Work may require performance of tasks outdoors under varying climactic conditions.
· We may fill multiple positions and establish an eligibility list for future hiring.
