The PWNR Project Manager works under the supervision of an engineering administrator to perform all project management functions in the administration, design, construction, and management of municipal, public works and utilities projects. Serve as project manager on public works capital improvement and development projects. Assume responsibility for project quality, scheduling, and project finances. Provide direction to project team members. Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. Supervise the development of designs, plans, specifications, construction scheduling, and estimates for the construction of public works projects. ects.
QUALIFICATIONS: Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in Civil Engineering, project management, or a related field and two years experience performing project management work on Public Works and Natural Resources related projects. A valid Colorado driver’s license is required. Competency in the use of software programs including Excel, Word and Lotus Notes is desirable. Experience with ESRI ArcMap, MS Project, and Micro Station CAD is a plus.
