Online Livability Portal
The National Association of Regional Councils (NARC) launched an Online Livability Portal to help regional planners, city managers, public works departments, and elected officials implement their community livability vision.  The new online resource is the result of a two year partnership with the US Department of Transportation Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and Federal Transit Administration (FTA), along with the National League of Cities (NLC), the National Association of Counties (NACo), the International City/County Management Association (ICMA) and APWA.  The resources and tools included in the online portal will help APWA members build stronger and more livable communities.

The online portal includes a guidebook, Creating Livable Communities: An Implementation Guidebook, case studies from across the country, tools and talking points for promoting community livability and links to partner resources.
