Pulse of the City
INGENIUM Public Works Conference, Auckland, New Zealand, 8 to 10 June 2006
INGENIUM 2006 Conference
To all APWA members:
Malo e leilei.
With our many cultures, there are many ways to welcome you to a vibrant Auckland, New Zealand where you can feel the Pulse of the City! Auckland has the greatest Polynesian population of any city in the world. The city's heart beats with Polynesian rhythms. Auckland, City of Sails and venue of two Americas Cup regattas, annually hosts one of the largest one-day yachting regattas in the world. It is truly a boatie's paradise.
The conference pulse has been beating for some months now, and the committee and our sponsors have surgically stitched together a programme that covers both the technical and management aspects of infrastructure. We are also making the most of the infrastructure developments happening on our doorstep and capturing some of the unique experiences that make this Auckland. The Northern Arterial work, the Mangere Wastewater Treatment Plant, Public Transport, the Sky Tower and the Ports of Auckland, plus Rangitoto Island, Waiheke Island, golf and shopping. Something for everyone!
The high calibre of Keynote Speakers, Technical Speakers, Technical Tours and social events will all contribute to making this conference a most memorable experience.
The health of your heart depends on how much you exercise it and feed it. Come, join in, get that pulse rate soaring!! The heart of Auckland City is ready to welcome you.
