The role of the public fleet operation has evolved over the years from providing high-quality, low-cost repair service to asset management and related business functions. The purpose of the Public Fleet Professional Certification is to promote excellence in fleet management by advancing the knowledge and practice of public fleet professionals to benefit communities through quality fleet services.

The purpose of the Public Infrastructure Inspector Certification is to promote quality infrastructure throughout the community by advancing the knowledge and practice of construction inspection to benefit the community and public agencies. Being connected with and certified by APWA ensures competent, experienced, and well-trained construction inspectors. Show your commitment to grounds management and your career by becoming a Certified Grounds Manager (CGM). Developed and offered by the Professional Grounds Management Society (PGMS), and officially endorsed by the American Public Works Association (APWA), the CGM program is the first of its type in the Green Industry. With certification, your presentations, requests for funds and equipment, and recommendations carry more weight.
