Welcome to the APWA web site for the Facilities and Grounds Committee. The purpose of the committee is to provide a mechanism for members in the Public Sector of both large and small communities with responsibilities for facilities, grounds and parks, and urban forestry to receive information and share their knowledge, experience and expertise with their APWA colleagues. It is a tremendous networking tool and a rewarding opportunity to assist one another.

The facilities and grounds infoNOW community (Operations) provides an opportunity for you to post and answer questions via email. One question and one answer can make a significant difference in the time you spend on a project, and the cost and success of that project.

The committee is a team of dedicated individuals that encourages members and APWA partners to participate in the many APWA educational, professional development, publication and advocacy programs. We welcome and encourage your involvement. If you have an area of interest or expertise and are willing to share, please contact us and get involved with a sub-committee in that area. Take a look at the list of projects planned for this year, if you are interested in serving on any of these, have thoughts on articles of interest for the Reporter, educational sessions for APWA Congress, or other ideas or suggestions, please contact APWA or one of your committee members.
